What to bring to your first project discussion

A clear starting brief helps make the conversation specific to your project. Share what you know so far:

• Your site or property's location and approximate size.
• Whether you are planning a new build, a renovation or interiors.
• Your priorities, intended budget range and preferred timeline.
• Any existing plans, site photographs or constraints you want to discuss.

Use the discussion to clarify the design scope, responsibilities and next steps. Confirm any approval-related work separately for your property before agreeing the scope.
